What to do in Vezzani ?

This is a mountain village overlooking the Tagnone valley, in the heart of a fragrant forest with laricio pine trees. A church in the Baroque style and the imposing fountain “Les Trois Grâces” lend their names to the two main squares.

This is a mountain village overlooking the Tagnone valley, in the heart of a fragrant forest with laricio pine trees. A church in the Baroque style and the imposing fountain “Les Trois Grâces” lend their names to the two main squares. Known since anti quity for its Tana copper mine and forest of laricio pine trees. Vezzani remains loyal to traditi onal by organising «woods and forest days» during which a small tourist trains connects the village to the Palais Vert.

TO VISIT:
- The church of Annunziata: in 1589 it had already become the seat of the Piévanie de Castello; today the facade presents features from Baroque art.
- The fountain of three graces: (Euphrosyne, Aglaé and Thalie), it is located in the centre of the village.
- The weeping willow of Sainte Hélène: Stemming from a branch brought back of the tree which stayed up the grave of Napoleon 1st on the Saint-Helena Island, this willow is more than 120 years old today.
