"A Festa di a San Michele will take place on September 28 and 29 - Ghisonaccia Festival Hall. Our town carries with it a section of the history of the Eastern Plain. Region formerly inhabited by shepherds, who during winter, left the mountains of Ghisoni and Central Corsica to spend the season with their animals in places more conducive to their activities. After several months spent on the heights, the shepherds descended on the coast during September. It is therefore for the Memory that a Festa di San Michele is celebrated during this period. Today, many shepherds are no longer transhumant, but the ""usu"" - the use - of this holiday has remained in the memory of Ghisunaccia. And every year, we try, as our elders did, to carry on the tradition."
