Pretty village overlooking the Oriente plain. Between Mignataghja and Piediquarciu, you can explore the ruins of the Château de Covasina, one of the largest fortified castles of the Middle Ages (10th century), located on a site that was probably a Roman oppidum. This site also provides a lovely view of the entire coast.

TO VISIT:
- The Château de Covasina is also called the Castellu di Carlomagno or Castello Alemano as it is said to have been built after a mission to Corsica by a German lord.
