The St Francois Convent in Prunelli
It was built between 1699 and 1703 by the Reverend Father François de Prunelli. The work began in 1699 and lasted only four years, thanks to the good will of the population. The place chosen was providential both for its location and for the presence of the necessary wood and stone. This place is called Palestinu. Situated at an altitude of 450 m above the Cursa, next to the Cummunu fountain, it is linked by paths to the church of the Cursa and to the site of the Abbadia San Ghjuvani Evangélista of Petrapola.
To get there: From the Abbazia roundabout, head towards Poghju di Nazza (D.244). Then turn left towards the hamlet of Albitroni (D.345), turn right shortly before the three houses that form the hamlet. Practicable dirt track
