WALK TO ST ANTOINE
By car from Ghisonaccia: Take the RT10 towards Porto-Vecchio 1 kilometre 500 after the Ghisonaccia exit, at the roundabout turn right towards Prunelli Di Fium’ Orbu, (D244) a traffic sign will show you the direction. Go straight on, then at the first roundabout, turn right at the supermarket in the direction of Poggio Di Nazza.
After travelling about fifteen kilometres you will arrive at Poggio Di Nazza. Head towards «Suartu» and park your vehicle. From «Suartu», a hundred metres from the car park, take the path in front of you. The walk lasts about one hour, there are no signs, you just have to follow this path. At the beginning of the hike you can cool down with the fountain near the picnic table. Halfway nearby the Saint-Antoine chapel, take the hill on your right and go straight ahead. The trip ends at the place called «Aghja Franca». If you want to take a shortcut to pick up your vehicle, take the stairs about ten metres before the sign or continue your walk through the village.
For this walk there is an easier possibility: as soon as you reach Poggio Di Nazza (by the same route), take the direction «Aghjola». Park your vehicle at the place called «Aghja Franca». After passing the two rows of benches you can take the path in front of you, take the descent on your left. Keep going straight ahead. The walk ends at «Suartu». (It is the departure point of the previous route).
