Itinerary: From Ghisonaccia, at the crossroads in the centre of the village, take the D344 towards Ghisoni, indicated on the signpost. In Ghisoni the hike starts in a bend at the exit of the village, in the direction of the Col de Sorba, at the height of a large house which overhangs the road. Go around the house and climb following the red markings. At the beginning of the path, after crossing an irrigation canal, you cross a chestnut grove; at the end of this path, lined with arbutus trees (about 5 minutes walk) which give a beautiful orange colour to nature in winter, you will be able to admire a unique panorama which includes the village of Ghisoni, the beautiful valley of Fiumorbu and Mount Christie Eleison. After an hour and a half's walk, you reach a small plateau with a view of the Renoso massif. Then begins an ascent of about 1 hour to Mount Calvi and the sheepfolds
of Cardu. It is possible to go back down on another path (Canarelli forest) which leads to the road to the Col de Sorba.
